Council Expresses Concern about Effects on Small Businesses on FDA Proposed Shellfish Program

In comments before the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the Council on Wage and Price Stability warned that the proposed regulations of the National Shellfish Safety Program could have a very disruptive impact on small businesses. The Council said that an economic analysis concentrating on costs and benefits should be done before FDA decides to implement the proposed program.
