Council Reduces Monitoring of Zinc Prices

Michael H. Moskow, Director of the Council on Wage and Price Stability, announced today that, as a result of recent events in the zinc market, the Council is no longer intensively monitoring zinc prices. On October 8, the Council had announced that it was intensifying its monitoring of zinc prices as a result of a 5 percent increase in list price by one producer.
