James C. Miller III Appointed Assistant Director For Government Operations and Research

Michael H. Moskow, Director of the Council on Wage and Price Stability, announced today the appointment of James C. Miller III of Conyers, Georgia, as Assistant Director for Government Operations and Research. He will be responsible for coordinating the monitoring and review of government practices and policies that have the effect of raising costs and prices. Mr. Miller replaces George Eads, who resigned on October 3 to become the Executive Director of the National Commission on Supplies and Shortages. Mr. Miller is an economist who has written widely on the subject of government regulation, especially in the transportation area.
