Before the Federal Energy Regulatory Comission: Compensation Provisions For Curtailments Plans

On December 8, 1977, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued a Preliminary Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and invited public comments regarding the practicability of comprehensive compensation provisions for curtailment plans. (42 F.R. 63018) Because the outcome of this proceeding could affect future availability and price of natural gas (particularly of supplemental gas supplies),  the Council on Wage and Price Stability (Council) is submitting these comments relating to possible curtailment of liquefied natural gas lLNG) and other supplemental gas and compensation plans therefor.
