Before the Interstate Commerce Commission: Petition to relax entry on the transportation of small shipments weighing 500 punds or less

The Council on Wage and Price Stability (Council) hereby submits its comments to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC or Commission) regarding the petition of Trailways, Inc. (Trailways) to institute rulemaking proceedings to relax entry, exit, and pricing restrictions on the transportation of small shipments weighing 500 pounds or less. The petitioner asks that the ICC eliminate these restrictions in order to bring about better service for shippers.
