Mr. Chairman and members of the Committee, I’m pleased to have this opportunity to discuss the connection between anti-trust, and more specifically the intent of the proposed “Anti-Trust Enforcement Act of 1979”, and our antiinflation
effort. As you know, inflation is one of the most important problems facing our economy. Yet the arsenal of acceptable and effective anti-inflation weapons is regrettable) limited.
