Before the Interstate Commerce Commission: General Increase The Middlewest Motor Freight Bureau

The Council on Wage and Price Stability (Council hereby submits its comments to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC or Commission) in opposition to the proposed general increase in rates and charges sought by the Middlewest Motor Freight Bureau (MWB). We oppose the proposed rate increase because it appears to be out of compliance with the President’s anti-inflation program, and we ask the Commission to suspend this proposal pending further investigation.
