BEFORE THE INTIRSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION: Direct Routes for Regular-Route Movements

The Council on Wage and Price Stability recommended that the Interstate Commerce Commission adopt a proposal that
would allow regular-route motor carriers to operate their vehicles over the most direct routes between terminal points on their systems.  This would enable carriers to increase their efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
